Amps
The rich funky sound of a Fender tube amp has yet to be duplicated to the satisfaction of many of us who grew up playing them in the 60's... I've heard many sales pitches, but please don't make me play my guitar through a new fangled amp.

"But as for me and my house....."

FENDER
1962 Showman 15 JBL D130*
This is the ultimate amp to play surf and instro/rock music. A Jazzmaster or a Jaguar with a Fender Reverb unit makes this amp sing.
Pure tone..Pure fun
1962 Showman Dual 15 JBL D140*
Two JBL D140's make this Showman a real
bass  monster . (as well as can be expected for an all tube amp)  Hey, back when this amp was King we weren't putten microphones
on the drums

1964 Black Face Super Reverb*
Well here it is... The worlds finest blues amp..
40 watts..open back..4x10's..with just a touch of spring reverb. Mix skilfully with an old Gibson
345 sv. Bring to a slow boil and let simmer.
That my friend is a recipe for the blues.
1964 Concert Oxblood
This is a really cool and rare amp. Pretty much like a Super Reverb without the reverb, but still pretty super. Most all Concerts were brown with tan grille cloth but there were a few blond ones here and there.
